The Google Lunar X PRIZE is a $30 million competition for the first privately funded team to send a robot to the moon, travel 500 meters and transmit video, images and data back to the Earth. 2/16/2011- This week is a big one in lunar exploration: the public will be formally introduced to the complete roster of entrepreneurial leaders of this new era. It has been wonderful and inspiring for us to watch as groups of brilliant and ambitious innovators from all over the world have come out of the woodwork to declare their dedication to opening access to the Moon for a new generation of scientists, explorers, and engineers. Friday Night Lights Evansville style! Papa John's helps out the Reitz HS Band with a fundraiser at the IHSAA Sectional with Jasper visiting Reitz (and getting hammered, but at least there was plenty of good pizza!)
